Supports a wide range of services for peace and justice activists (socially concerned and engaged citizens). Publishes the acclaimed Sonoma County Peace Press. Sponsor of Radio Resistance, and so much more.
The mission of the Peace and Justice Center of Sonoma County is to inform, support and energize the Sonoma County community to create peace and social justice through active nonviolence.
Members of the Center envision a world of Peace and Justice, where differences are respected, conflicts are addressed nonviolently, oppressive structures are dismantled, and people seek to live in harmony with the earth and one another.
That’s no small task, but in this era of global climate collapse, species extinctions, oligarch overreach, imperial depredation and social fragmentation is any other task more important?
